ADOPT AND INVENT AN ANIMAL
TUESDAYS ARE TRADITIONALLY GIVING DAYS ON OUR ADVENT CALENDAR
TODAY, WE’RE GOING “ADOPT” AN ANIMAL FROM A FAVOURITE CHARITY
We’ll be letting the kids decide whether this is a symbolic adoption from either the WWF or the Zoo or a Gift of Hope in the form of chickens, goats, etc. from Plan International.
THEN, WE’RE ALL GOING TO “INVENT” AN ANIMAL OF OUR CHOICE BY DRAWING AN IMAGINARY BEAST, WRITING ITS STORY OR SONG, OR ALL OF THE ABOVE.
This need not be an entirely new species. The story could be as simple as coming up with a new reindeer for Santa’s sleigh or drawing “Wally The Christmas Owl,” whoever they happen to be….
