Holiday Beatnik Coffeehouse

As you may have noticed, I took suggestions from the teenagers as to what they’d like to do on various days in Advent. In addition to the Fried Chicken Tour, we’ve had a request to basically relive the scene in the movie Funny Face, where Audrey Hepburn goes to find her philosopher idol in a Parisian club.

Today we’re going to fulfill B’s request to have a Holiday Beatnik Coffeehouse.

The request is as follows:

Eat Baguettes and Stew, Dance Around to Jazzy Christmas Music, and Watch Noir-ish Holiday B-Movies Wearing Black Turtlenecks, Berets, Sunglasses, and Flat Shoes.

All right, KitCat, will do.

We’ll throw on Christmas Holiday or Cash on Demand after wearing ourselves out dancing to ye olde Rhino Beat Generation CDs. And we’ll nosh on one fab Boef Bourg. [I’m a fan of Mary Berry’s.]
