IT’S THE LAST DAY OF ADVENT!
Here’s my Christmas Eve Checklist for 2017
□ Take another brisk walk outdoors and come home to a hot cuppa!
□ Prep the mains and sides for tomorrow’s Christmas dinner.
□ Eat a light lunch and have a teaser cocktail! Or, raid the cookie platter.
□ Mid-afternoon nap to prepare for midnight mass.
□ Listen to Jon Solomon’s 29th Annual 25-Hour Christmas Radio Show! This show runs from 5pm Christmas Eve to 6pm Christmas Day on WPRB in Princeton, N.J. But you can Listen In from anywhere on a computer or phone!
□ Feast of the Seven Fishes. Celebrate the season with a fish-themed supper. Bon Appetit just published a killer 5 dish menu I think I’m going to wait and try for my next birthday! This holiday, I’ll probably go for a Feast of Seven Fishes in 2-3 dishes…More on that later?Perhaps!
□ Midnight Mass at the Cathedral
□ Cookies, Milk, and Carrots for Santa and his Crew
□ Goodnight Kisses for the Kids
[And, no, you can’t open “just one present” before bed in our house!]
□ Late-Late-Night Cocktails for the Parents
