Free Wednesdays
On SSJ Advent Wednesdays, we’re taking advantage of all the “free stuff” our city has to offer. Between museum “free nights,” free admission to city attractions granted by the Toronto Public Library, and “always free” events, we’re heading out on the town without breaking the bank.
Gardiner Museum
Today, we’re heading out to Toronto’s Gardiner Museum to explore their intriguing special exhibitions celebrating clay and ceramic traditions. We’re especially excited to see the Magdalene Odundo: A Dialogue with Objects Exhibit. Later, we’ll do a bit of browsing at the gift shop, which almost always features local Canadian sculptors and ceramists. Admission is free on Wednesdays after 4:00 pm. And wow! What great timing! There’s a pop-up Toronto Potters Market at the Gardiner this Thursday between 5:00pm and 8:00pm featuring handmade ceramics and crafts!
