DESCRIPTION:CHRISTMAS COOKIE WARS!\nToday marks a Battle Royale between the Ancients and the Moderns\nToday\, our favourite Christmas Cookie recipe will go head-to-head with a rookie-newcomer for the title of Christmas Cookie Champion 2018! \nWhat does this mean?  First\, the family is going to settle on our favourite holiday cookie from our own recipe collection. Will it be Pepparkakor? Brownie Cookies? Ginger Cookies? Nona’s Lemon Knots? We might just have to draw a name out of a hat! \nThen\, we’ll ask the kids to search the internet\, the lesser-known portion of our cookbook shelf\, or the local newsstand magazine rack for a cookie recipe they’ve never tried but are dying to bake. Things I’ve had my eye on? Ina’s Macaroons\, the New York Times’ Black and White Cookies\, and Martha’s Classic Shortbread Cookies. \nWe’ll make both cookie recipes. We’ll taste them.
