□ Take the dog for a long morning walk!

□ Drink hot chocolate or morning hot toddies

□ Make place-cards for the dinner table

□ Top up the Christmas cookies, if necessary

□ Prepare the pasta sauce [for the squid ink pasta] with anchovies, smoked mussels, and clams

□ Make shrimp cocktail

□ Sing carols

□ Flowers from Green Mountain

□ Set the table

□ Ready the charcuterie board

□ Take a long winter’s nap

□ Dress up a little and have a session cocktail
