Today, we’ll mail out all of the Christmas Cards. Then, we’ll curl up with a pile of cookbooks, a pot of coffee, a notebook, and a pen, and we’ll plan Christmas Eve Dinner.
Usually, the “Night Before”” meal is more of a production in our house than Christmas dinner. On the 25th, we tend to graze on leftovers and treats from Santa. So, the Christmas Eve meal will be our focus!
Undoubtedly, we’ll have some sort of version of the Feast of the Seven Fishes again this year. There’s almost always a squid ink pasta with a red sauce of smoked mussels or clams. And we’re huge fans of homemade Shrimp Cocktail.
