Public Art Photography Tour
Our city is full of fantastic art in public spaces, like the Group of Seven Murals in the entrance to 100 Adelaide Street. Three different friends have posted pictures of this space over the past few months! It must be calling! From monuments, to sculpture, to mosaics and stained glass windows, Toronto is full of wonderful pieces that are free to enjoy. When the kids were young, we took them on a day of searching for Sorel Etrog sculptures downtown. Today, we’ll widen our scope and search for art in all forms. We’re going to go on a self-guided tour of Toronto Public Art, and we’re going to take photographs of everything that tickles our fancy. I have a feeling that this project that will last for several more days, or the entirely of Advent, really.

Teen Angel/Toy Drive
Alongside our touring, we’re going to go online or stop off at our local Community Centre 55 and make a contribution to their Teen Angel/Toy Drive. You can either bring a gift card for a teen or an unwrapped tour for a younger child to add to their Christmas hampers.
