Crosswords, Cryptics, and Holiday Baking
Today, we’ll grab a copy of the local newpapers for their annual Giant Holiday Crossword puzzles. Additionally, we’ll download a few of Stephen Sondheim’s Cryptic Crosswords from old copies of New York Magazine [Since Stephen Sondheim’s Crossword Puzzle Book is well nigh impossible to locate, here’s an awesome blog-compendium of many of those.]
Again this year, as we solve, we’ll bake! We’ll heat some more of our frozen cookie doughs, and we’ll stir up a few of our other favourite holiday bakes! I’m particularly interested in making last year’s addition, Springerle, once again!!!
