Bringing Back the Colour-In Table Setting
When the kids were little, we celebrated several holidays by making a Kraft paper tablecloth that we could colour in before and during our meals. For Thanksgiving 2012, we created colour-in placemat picture-frames, as above. And in 2013, we created fill-in-the-silhouette animals for colouring. I thought it would be fun to revive the tradition for our Christmas Eve Feast of the Seven Fishes. Perhaps we’ll write the Christmas Eve menu right on the paper. Perhaps we’ll create outlines of the serving platters for our feast. Perhaps we’ll add many many fishies to colour in. The possibilities are endless. We’ll have to let the best sketchers in the family decide!
