“Ma, I love him awful!”
It’s time to settle in for a long weekend of family hijinks. What’s better than pizza and a movie on Friday night?
We’ll keep the pizza, thank you. But we’re doing the movie a little differently. Instead of watching Moonstruck, or any other movie, we’re going to sit around the dinner table with our pizza, nougat (aka torrone), and cuccidati and do a cold reading of the Moonstruck film script.
We found the script online. And we’ve shared the pdf to everyone’s phones and tablets. So, tonight, we’ll divvy up the roles (doubling/tripling up on plenty) and read the script as if we’re giving it a first rehearsal before the filming starts. With any luck, someone in the family will DJ highlights from La Bohème.
I’m really excited about this one!
